This 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 convertible was modified and refurbished in 2005 and is powered by a GM Performance Parts 427ci (7.0L) V8 assembled by Jerry Windell. The engine features GM Performance Parts aluminum cylinder heads and triple two-barrel carburetors. Power is routed through a four-speed manual transmission, replacing the factory TH400 automatic, to a 12-bolt rear end. A custom exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers completes the performance setup.

The Chevelle is finished in red with a power-operated white soft top and features faux hood vents, quad headlights, ZL-1 and 427 emblems, a black taillight panel, bowtie side mirrors, quarter vent windows, and chrome trim. Staggered 17-inch front and 18-inch rear Billet Specialties wheels are fitted with Diamond Back redline tires. The car has a lowered suspension with Bilstein shocks, performance springs, Hotchkis rear sway bar and lower control arms, quick-ratio power steering, power-assisted front disc brakes, and rear drums.

Inside, the convertible features red vinyl front bucket seats and rear bench seating, a full-length center console, floor-mounted shifter, air conditioning, and a performance audio system with an Alpine head unit, Rockford Fosgate amplifier, and trunk-mounted CD changer. The tilting three-spoke steering wheel fronts a horizontal 120-mph speedometer, tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, battery charge, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer reads 40,000 miles.
